Misc. Notes
A very small and tiny framed person. She emigrated to America in 1893 from Sicily, leaving her daughter Antonina, son-in-law Calogero, and two grandchildren behind. She never approved of the marriage of her daughter, Antonina, to Calogero Russolese and so refused to be a guest in her daughter's house for her entire life. Her granddaughter, Rosina Russolese, remembers that Salvatora would always give each of her grandchildren a nickel on holidays. This was an act of generosity highly valued by its recipients.

Source: Her daughter's birth certificate.
